Jerry arrived to us in April. Injured, angry, depressed and unable to walk as he was dragging his back end.
With proper diet, Chinese herbs, great veterinary care, 15 teeth removed- leaving him toothless, and a commitment to driving him to Michigan weekly and then every other week for incredible chiropractic and acupuncture treatments for months Jerry healed.. In this video, he partakes in an ordinary moment of walking back to the house. Yet, it's really an extraordinary moment due to his will, trust, resilience, and determination to walk again.

Daisy and Dimples were adopted by an amazing family who were willing to work on bonding them as they were single rabbits. We had a feeling they were interested in one another, and shared to have patience and time as it could take awhile. That was last Sunday. Here they are today! <3

10 years ago today while volunteering at a suburba

10 years ago today while volunteering at a suburban shelter, this little girl and seven of her siblings arrived. They were found in a garbage bag destined for a river in Kentucky. When I went to the kennel, she crawled over the others to come say hello. I wasn't looking for another dog, but as we know in rescue, we never are! Happy Gotcha Day Rubie girl! Life is so blessed with you in it.

We just agreed to help 2 more rabbits. The first was "free to a good home" she lived in a bird cage- yes, a bird cage. The second was abandoned in the forest preserves and hopped up to a fisherman.

Please meet (white) Katles which means a Siberia moon goodness who could turn into a rabbit

And (dutch) Freya which is a Norse goddess of love depicted often with rabbits.

This poor baby was abandoned when the owners moved

This poor baby was abandoned when the owners moved 2 days ago. A good sam took it in. We are bursting full, however this baby had nowhere to go.
