Cassie, Mercie, Tofu, Maggie Moon, Snuffy and I came to see Dr Weaver for treatments today. This 3 seconds had me well up! Cassie has a spinal embolism and with that goes a tail that is limp, till today. Doc opened the meridians and her tail began wagging. She is a continued work in progress. We are so proud of her as she is so good about all her treatments! This is a win!

These handsome gents were abandoned in a park near our friends Red Door, and they took them in for us till we had space. Thanks to our frinds at Chicago Exotics Animal Hospital for vetting them too. They're arriving to us shortly. Big thanks to Cass for transport!

These 2 cuties were abandoned in a sensory park in the suburbs. A good sam saw 1, but rarely is there one. Our foster went back with baby 1 to see if there were more, and baby 2 was found. Meet Kale and Bart 🙂 (named by a neighbor's little girl)

HOORAY for adoptions!

Georgie found himself relinquished in a box outside a local shelter. Thankfully, Lauren saw him and agreed to foster (Linda too). This darling boy is a total love! Lisa and her family read about Georgie online and knew he was the perfect fit, we think so too! LOOK at this joy!

What an amazing family they asked lots of questions (our favorite) and everyone is on board!

God Speed sweet Georgie now Whistle, and thanks as always to Linda and Lauren for fostering, we couldn't do this without you!

Hooray for adoptions!!

Cooper was one of the myriad of stray rabbits we have taken in this year. Thankfully he was caught by a good Sam and then thankfully again, fostered by a lovely new foster. THANK YOU team!

Merrilee was searching Petfinder and came upon Cooper and knew he was THE one. Her family did their homework, asked great questions and are all on board for caregiving. Our favorite type of adopters! The rest, is history!

Hooray for adoptions! Rovie is a very special boy

Hooray for adoptions!

Rovie is a very special boy who pulled on our heartstrings harder than most. He is a 6 year old bun who is blind and deaf and was relinquished at a local shelter. We scooped him up immediately. (thank you Erin for temp foster!)

After getting him properly vetted which was the easy part, we knew finding him a perfect home might be challenging. And it was, until Hannah reached out. You see, Rovie was exactly what Hannah was looking for, as buns with medical or challenging issues are what Hannah fosters and adopts. We wanted to make sure Rovie would have a friend to navigate life with given his special needs, and, because Rovie had been a solo bun prior. Hannah sent a lovely application, we had a great chat and she is even more lovely in person.

Rovie is in the best possible hands, adjusting and very social with Hannah's other 2 buns. EVERYTHING we could ask for. Hannah and her buns were our prayers answered.

God Speed sweet, darling, precious Rovie ❤

Meet Cassie!

This dollbaby arrived today. We are fostering for our friends at @a Cry for Help rescue. Cassie was abandoned and found dragging by AC. She is 6 years old, fully vetted, good with dogs and people. This 9 pound peanut has made great strides already and has been walking more each day. We are going to get her in with the crew seeing Dr Weaver for accupuncture and chiropractic sessions, along with herbs, laser and exercises here to get her to her confidence level for walking and running again.

These precious girls and their family have adopted 3 guinea pigs from MDF. The entire family is hands on, which makes pet owning easier and all the more fun. Mom just sent this amazing photo. The girls are donating all the proceeds today to Moon Dog Farm! If you're in the Downers Grove area- make sure to stop by ❤️
